Doesn't ur husband just melt and feel so in love with u as he watches ur pregnant belly grow with his child?

Why do so many people warn you that feelings toards your partner might change once baby is born? Are those negative feelings only temporary whilst you are both sleep deprived or a little overwhelmed? Does the love and affection come back 10 fold once the baby is about 6 months old?

Cos it's all so exciting starting a family...
They are both 30 years old... Been together for 8 years... Lived together for 3 years... They are not engaged...

A year ago I overheard them fighting... Yelling at each other... He was trying to help her eat the right food (she is very overweight)... And she was getting upset... Then it turned into an all out brawl... Doors were slamming... She was yelling at him, "I'm nearly 30, I want a baby now!"

Now they have announced on facebook that they are expecting a child...
Wtf?
Have they sorted out their problems or did she just demand a child?

he will at least stay until the kids are older hey? He's been really goos lately. Very nice and caring. He is better than before now... He was taking her for granted a bit... Not really talking much, no physical affection, etc.
But now that she is providing him with the greatest blessing of his life. Does that mean he is falling madly in love with her again?
Or is it possible that he isn't "in love" but has chosen to settle with her, and he is committed to taking care of her during the biggest stage of her life when she is hormonal and vulnerable.

We split about 4 months back and I gave recently found out I'm three months pregnant.

We're not on dreadful terms, I think we're both just hurt at the minute. Although we do chat and have hugged once since our break up.

Recently, I had ran into him and had told him I'd actually put on a few pounds lately. Without thinking he jokingly went: 'are you pregnant?' To which I blushed and went bright red... I just didn't say anything in return.

Although recently, I've been sporting a tiny little bump. I got him glancing at my belly the other day... so I'm not sure if he's noticed I've got a little bit bigger down there.

Should I tell him now? Or wait it out?

Kinda scared of his reaction.
