For those of you who have had a miscarriage. Help?

This is for the women (sorry men unless you have a wife or female friend or relative who knows). I had a miscarriage the day before New Year's Eve. I was almost 14 weeks. What I would like to know is when will the bloating/pregnant-looking belly go away and when will my period come back? It's hard enough without looking pregnant. It's not like I've been pigging out since. In fact, just the opposite. I've been having bad cramping like my period is going to start but it hasn't. Hopefully someone on here has been through this too and can help?

I am sorry for your loss. My sister miscarried about the same timing as you. Her body did not naturally (or automatically) pass the fetus and she required a d&c procedure. Everything was fine and back to normal about 2 months later.

I have absolutely no idea about miscarriages but I know that it is much too sensitive to ask GAGers instead of a doctor. Consult a gynaec. Dont take it lightly. These things can cause complications for lifetime.
