My teacher is attractive, very entertaining and jokes around a lot during his lecture and refuses to remember the names of his students too. Usually I'm very quiet, dedicated and serious during class and avoid talking to him unless is to participate. Anyway today he asked the class to visit him during his office hours to find out our grade. I was not interested because I know I have done all my work and passed the tests. I walked out of class and As I turned around I noticed he was staring at me without even blinking and then I guess he realized I noticed and stutter to say "Lucy, you're not coming to find out your grade?" I felt almost obliged because even my classmate asked. Anyway, everyone made a line outside his office and as soon as they went in they were out of his office. But then as I walked in he tells me "Oh.. I've been waiting for you, come in, what are you afraid of?".. I said "nothing" although I was surprised with his energetic attitude and words towards me. I asked him my grade and once he said it I said-okay thank you and started walking out. Then I heard him say:"but wait... uh.. look at this piece of artwork I have here" he showed me every decoration in his office, it felt like it was his excuse to keep me in there. My classmate noticed it had taken longer than with the other students and she looked inside the office. He realized there were other students waiting to know their grade and he dismissed me and asked me to visit again... is difficult for me to understand the way guys think, am i overreacting about his behavior?

Bullies are 'supposed' to be held accountable for their behavior against another person. This is because the bully is in control of their own actions. However, the new debate topic now surrounds suicide. While the bully may have picked on their victim, they ultimately didn't kill the person. The victim made that decision on their own. Many are bullied, few choose to commit suicide while most others either deal with it or fight back. When we're adults, we're told that if we're bullied at work that it's part of life and to get over it.

Many parents who lose their children to bullying suicides often try to sue the bully or the school. For example, Fairfield City Schools in Fairfield, OH (my Alma mater) is currently fighting a legal battle because a student, Emilie Olsen, shot and killed herself due to bullying. Her family claims that the school knew and didn't do enough to stop it, so they are suing for reparations. You can read more about this here.

So what do you think? Should the bully and/or school be held responsible if their victim commits suicide?

(I'm in 9th grade)
Ever since the first day of the 9th grade I've had a crush on this 10th grader guy, at first I had everything on a down low and kept the secret to myself. Then on this past Wednesday of my second week of school I told my friends I wanted to show him I liked him by kissing him, I thought it wouldn't since I was leaving. My friends said kissing him on the lips was a terrible idea, they said to do the side of the face instead.

His Behavior Before
•Stared at me
•Smiled at me
•Was outgoing and talkative around his friends but got quiet when I came
•Acted shy
•Always was around
•Came out of nowhere

His friends never liked me
I walked over to my crush even though he was with his friends and I told him this"Hey______, I have something important to tell you"

He came outside in the hallway and followed me to the stairs. I told him"I have a surprise for you but do you mind closing your eyes?"

He did as I said.

(He kept smiling the entire time)

I attempted doing it but I couldn't even reach his mouth so I told him to walk down on the lower stair steps.

He did as I said.

I scooted closer and tried again then his friends walked by, looked then left.

When we're finally alone
I told him"Can you close them again?"

He did again.

He always smiled while closing his eyes.

I leaned in and kissed him.

He opened his eyes, looked away, smiled then left.

After the kiss his friends got really mad especially his friend Ava

She Said"He's really upset and is yelling right now, he said he's not interested in anyone and doesn't want a relationship"

All the students found out and so did the teachers.
