There is a guy in one of my classes that I have liked for a few weeks now. For a while, I thought that he didn't like me at all, because he would purposely ignore me and just talk to other people (and girls) in front of me. For weeks we never talked to each other and just stared/locked eyes with each other. A couple of times, we would lock out eyes for a few seconds without expressions. One time he was handing me a piece of paper and looked nervous while doing it, we locked eyes for 4 seconds until I looked away. It was weird because he just kept looking at me. One day in class, because I was done with the ongoing silence, I decided to kind of start a conversation. A couple of times I would comment/say stuff to him and he and I would smile and lock eyes with each other. One time I was answering a question and he answered it before me while locking eyes with me. He also seems fidgety and nervous sometimes throughout the class period. He also sometimes tries to position himself closer to me, but not too close.

I think he likes me but the weird thing he does is the minute that class is over, he walks out the door and doesn't try to talk to me or anything (basically ignores me). I follow him (we have the same pathway to our cars) until we separate in other directions. We never talk outside of class (nor do I really see him) so I can understand if he is not comfortable in talking to me, but he always seems in a rush to get out the door. The other day we were both walking back to the parking lot and he suddenly stopped and sat on a bench, using his phone. I just walked past him and didn't say anything. Do you think maybe he wanted me to talk to him? I would feel like if a guy liked a girl, he would try to talk to her outside of class too, but he never does that. I really like him, but I have been hurt before by guys so I try to also keep my distance. I can't tell what is going on...

So, I have a crush on a guy that is in one of my classes in college. He is a grade older than me and tends to be the "joker" of the class. He will constantly try to make the professor laugh with "stupid" answers and in total make the whole class laugh. He isn't stupid or anything, he just likes that type of attention. So, I started "liking" him when we had to be put into groups for an essay peer review. It wasn't just me and him though, it was me, a girl, him, and another guy. So, the entire time he barely talked to me, and just talked (flirted) with the girl and the guy. He was basically ignoring me for no reason even though I barely knew him and never even talked to him. While he was talking with the girl (who sits next to me), he seemed nervous (he was fidgety and looked uncomfortable). My first thought was that he was nervous around the girl he was talking to, but if he was nervous around her, why would ignore me completely? I thought he was attractive before this incident but this situation made me a little confused.
So other than that incident, he never really seemed SUPER into me or was showing me all the signs. There have been a couple of times where we locked eyes with each other for a few seconds. When we do look at each other, he never looks away nervously (like a shy guy). He often keeps the eye contact. In class he does sit diagonally from me so, he often tries to position himself closer to me. He barely talks to me in class (ignores me) and he sometimes just asks the girl next to me random questions like "what was the homework?" or "did he grade that test?" There have been times where I could see him glance at me while looking in my direction. Outside of class, I barely see him or talk to him (bad sign probably lol). He does this weird thing where the minute that the professor says bye to us, he runs out the door.

there's this guy whom I like since last year, everyone used to “ship us” in class (the teachers moved to the classroom, we were together all day at school in every class), even teachers got involved in the game, he used to sit next to me in every class. He’s one of the smartest people I’ve known, and he’s funny and treats others kindly and I find him really attractive. This year we’re in different classes and now he doesn’t even say hi to me, there was this instance where I was w/ a group of friends of his and he only said hi to them and skipped me, once he started walking I said “ok, hi? Goodmorning?” And he started laughing and said hi to me. The only class when we’re together is English and not even there he says hi to me, the other day we had class outside and we sat next to each other and we didn’t talk but he did asked me some questions about the work we were doing and I made him laugh and everything seemed kinda ok. The next day I tried to say hi to him but he completely ignored me and treated me like if I were invisible and has been like that ever since. My friends tell me he likes me bc they have “caught him staring at me” and my other friend who talks to him told me that in English even if I’m not talking to him he laughs at the things I say. But I don't know if I should believe them bc he doesn’t treat me that way, and I think he treats me like that bc he may know that I like him but I’m ugly and he may be embarrassed? But he doesn’t ever get mad when people joke about us being together, he just laughs it off. The other day my friend heard him ask “what time is it?” And she said “time for you to speak with andy” and he laughed and didn’t say anything. That same friend at our school dance (last semester) asked him “when are you going to go out with andy? Or dance w/her? She’s a nice person and I can see you two together” and he laughed and said “yes” while laughing. But now he treats me like I don’t exist at all. He doesn’t say hi, he doesn’t say goodbye.
