I've seen it many times here where someone says this to make their point stronger. But few of them actually provide any links to scientific evidence, instead prefering to use generic and anedoctal examples that are part of society's costumes and morals. For example: "Being in a relationship is part of human nature"; "Being jealous is part of human nature"; "War is part of human nature"; "Envy is part of human nature".

An interesting variation to this is stating that something is part of a particular gender's nature. "Polygamy is part of male nature"; "Hypergamy is part of female nature", "traditional gender roles are enforced by nature".

By "scientific evidence" I mean formal researches (in fields like biology, anthropology, history, sociology, psychology) , using proven methodology and published in spaces aknowledge by a considerable part of the scientific community.

By "common sense" I mean, social uses, morals and costumes, generic and anedoctal examples ("My cousin swore he saw an UFO last night"; "my friend's kid used to be gay but managed to reverse it, it's a true story"; "No one was born to be single, that's not part of human nature"). Pseudo-science, "broscience" and youtube "social experiments" can also be included here.

I hate older women (older than 30 years old) since they all have this princess-mentality who thinks just because they've have had horrible relationship experiences, they think they deserve more than they actually do and think all men owe them because of their bitter attitude. They're all too traditional in terms of gender roles and they think the world revolves around them. Younger girls may seem to be immature and annoying to most people but at least the new generation of women seem to mature more faster than the older generation of women. Not to mention, the new generation of women don't have this anti-male attitude that most older women seem to have, especially older white women.

So, me and this girl, been in love forever. Though we're not together, it looks like we won't be able to stay away from each other forever. Like, we're not "together", but might as well be by the way we act. lolz. So after she finishes her crash course med school, tut idea popped up about getting a place together. But she objects, because she'll be making more money than me, and doesn't want to feel like the head of the house. I said we can split everything evenly. She said , no its the mans job to have a place. She only wants to "pay whats necessary ".

I object, because, if im paying for everything, I'm making the rules. And if were gonna be old school, then ill expect my pants ironed, my meals cooked and my homework done. But i dont want that, i like equality. I want to treat someone i love equally, i dont want to own them, or have them rely on me like a child. Or the fact that she'd have plenty of cash, but expect me to take care of everything, since i have a dick. So she can just save save save, while if anything goes wrong, im in the hole. We're both in our college years, by the way.

So, am I wrong for wanting equality? Or am I wrong for not wanting to go with traditional gender roles?
