This is admittedly a rant, but I don't usually indulge in this much anymore so I'm just going to get it out.
Women who consider other women sluts for sleeping with men...even lots of men are lacking in common intelligence. The fact that you are ok with guys sleeping around but not your own gender is not only internalized oppresion but a choice whether voluntary or not to neglect your intelligence. Men do not deserve to be more sexually promiscuous than women because we cannot get pregnant. The thought that it could be otherwise is nothing short of being completely berefect of any attachment to rationality. To think that men deserve more sexual freedom than women as being an actual fact and not just obviously chauvensitic thinking that is not the worst of society's problems, but does need to be improved upon is incredibly sad and embarrasing for a grown person man or woman to believe.
Let's consider where the major sources for this on this site as an example. It is most likely coming from admitted male virgins as well as men who have other many complaints about women that do not include their sexual voraciousness, and seem to have a severe and chronic mistrust and problem with women as corely immoral human beings. This sort of man cannot be trusted because he is obviously biased towards a certain answer. He wants to believe women are immoral and so women who sleep with lots of men are his bread and butter. He is also often speaking from a place of hurt. Not only from a woman who could have potentially cheated, hooked up with many men before him, but also women who out around sleeping with lots of men but not with him. He is humiliated and he shifts this pain onto others and hopes to make them feel badly about themselves for expressing the same freedom he has, but can't utilize because no one will sleep with him.
Let's consider another major source--militantly traditional females. These women tend to be in long term relationships, they could not survive any other way. To them, the role of the woman and femininity itself is so entrenched in male worship, they can not understand feminism even at it's most basic level. This is because they do understand a world of female independence. They do not understand a world in which women's goals, hopes, dreams are not tied to and in no way have to do with men. Being a wife is so central to womanhood for them that a woman who dreams of nothing else besides being a top lawyer seems cold, immoral, and somehow morally broken. The feminist movement makes them feel judged for their reliance on men for identity, as it should, and so they rebel by judging other women namely women who sleep with lots of men. The worst type of woman, to a militantly traditionalist female, is not a highly promiscious woman, but a feminist. The first type is likely to be susceptible to shaming thus temporarily allieviating the gnawing guilt traditionalist females carry because their entire idealogy doesn't make any sense, but the latter, the feminist, makes them realize the ultimate truth behind traditionalist idealogy--that women are inferior to men.
This is at the core of what these two groups, and what many subgroups ultimatly are forced to believe if they are to argue that men are deserving of more sexual freedom than women are and that women deserve to be judged more harshly than men do for sexual promiscuity. They won't broadcast it, but it relies on a premise of male superiority over the female. It cannot be any other way for this theory to work. Now, many people do not believe in this and therefore, in my opinion, are feminists. However, the smartest thing the traditionlists ever did was muddle feminism in radicalism so that now it seems like a barbarian legion of lesbians with short hair cuts plotting to bury all men underneath the earth after cyrogenitcally freezing all their sperm then killing off the male offspring instead of the simple message of women getting oppurtunities and social and political freedom that men have enjoyed since the beginning of time that it is. Anyone who uses the word slut to refer only to women who are promiscuous at the exclusion of men who are promiscuous is a traditionalist. Anyone who refuses to use the word slut to refer only to women who are promiscuous at the exclusion of men who are promiscuous is a progressive. At the end, it is this simple. It is about realizing that while we have biological differences which create many, many difference not only to our personalities, but to our life experiences, our sexual orientations, and many many other things, we are, in the end, all just humans figuing out the world one day at a time.

Girls, those of you who call each other sluts...I pray for you...I honestly can't understand someone who wants their own gender arbitrarily held to a higher standard without any explanation that makes any sense...
