Women mostly talk about their men to their friends when something bad has happened. Which will make the friend think he’s a bad guy and get in to her head.

Female friends break relationships.

You shouldn’t be sharing personal things in a relationship to friends

Where I come from we don't air out dirty laundry. Couples keep their problems and solutions in house.

But a few people break that unwritten rule and it always ends badly.

And from what I've seen the same logic applies around thr world as well.

There's a few things to remember:
- Miserable people will want you to share in their misery. So advice on keeping a partner from someone struggling to get one is always bad advice.
- We are hard wired to protect our tribe first before looking out for strangers. And your friends are part of your tribe meaning they will never give your partner (the outsider) the benefit of the doubt.
- It's easy to dish out advice when you don't know the actual nuances and have only heard one side of a story. So friend's advice on relationships is not worth much.

Of course there are exceptions as always but generally speaking no one should be looking for good advice by airing out dirty laundry.

Maintaining respect for someone's privacy and dignity is important. Publicly insulting someone can undermine their character and could potentially damage their reputation if those insults reach a wider audience. If you have a problem or an issue with a man, address it directly to him.

I’ve seen both men and women insult each other publicly (either in the street or online or what have you). It’s NEVER ok. You have s**t to work out do it privately in a calm and logical way. Your life isn’t a scene from WESTSIDE STORY. 🙄🙄🙄

Neither public humiliation nor physical violence is ever ok whether it’s coming from the guy or the girl. It’s toxic regardless of who initiates it.

Both genders can do this.
Some people are very close to their friends. They are support, in essence therapy. The act of sharing somewhat private conversations with friends does not break relationships. The problems in the relationship do. Embarrassment of the events being shared is just an excuse. Deal with the source. Heal the problem and stop the news transfer.

It’s normal to vent to your friends and get a different perspective when you feel wronged by your partner.

Yes, sometimes you do need a friend’s view for validation in case you are being manipulated or abused. Female friends do not break relationships. Your girlfriend is a grown woman. If your relationship ends it’s because the two of you, not her friends.

Never insult. I see OP clarified it to share relationship problems... No on that one, too. I view it as really unfair to my SO if I do that bc my friends are only hearing one side of the story... mine. I think that's one of the most disrespectful things I could do. If my partner and I can't work it out and I need to talk to someone, I will see a therapist.

For both genders, I agree. That doesn't happen to men only, but some men also insult their women yeah? I've heard a group of guys talk about their girlfriends in a nasty way. So it happens on both sides, not just women.

I disagree because the framing of the question is targeted at a single gender. This is not a gender specific issue, so the insertion of gender is inherently discriminatory.
