Search Results: what to talk about on the phone with your boyfriend

My boyfriend and I have different views of communication when it comes to frequency for texting or calling. I think we should text every as much as we can, if he's busy, maybe not as much but when we have time we try to let each other know what we're doing. Since we see each other every weekend, or sometimes over the week if we're not busy, my boyfriend thinks calling once or twice a week is enough and doesn't like texting. I've given up plus don't want to make him do anything that he doesn't want to so we talk over the phone once or twice a week. Which has made me realize that not communicating as much gives us time to miss each other plus time to be ourselves. I think that's healthy. But I'm also wondering if my thinking this way is me trying to convince myself that there's nothing wrong. I'm probably over thinking.
