Search Results: being too mature in a relationship

While I'll treat my woman like a queen and protect her, I want her to reciprocate. Since women in today's day and age are constantly expecting men to treat them with more respect than before and allow them to do dangerous things like being in law enforcements, military and all of that stuffs that men have only worked for, I was wondering if the majority of today's women want the same responsibility as men when it comes to life choices and actions.

I want my partner who is:

Nurturing and Maternal.
Mature.
Honest.
Faithful.
Willing to risk her life (obviously not die but show no fear) every once in a while for me (when I have a broken arm or legs in a fatal situation) and not leave me for dead.
Not feel self-entitled for me to treat her like a princess without doing anything for me just because of our genders.
Not have too many serious expectations of me because I'm a man (and apparently, men aren't allowed to have expectations and opinions on women while men are expected to be indestructable warriors who are nearly emotionless in our society).
Willing to do her best to stay in a positive mood at least every once in a while.
Has a beautiful face and body (by my own standards and does NOT have to look like a model or a pornstar).
Not the type of woman who would pull the gender card because she wants to avoid conflicts, consequences and responsibilities of her own actions and decisions.
Just as protective as me as I am for her.
Very protective of our future children.
Respectful towards me as a man as I am respectful towards her as a grown woman.

Is that too much to ask?

In and out of a couple of relationships, I always found that communication and keeping in contact with each other was one of the hardest things to do. There was always an effort to stop a relationship from drifting apart. So many reasons, ranging from lack of shared interests, a too boring life, or not being friends enough to randomly chat up anywhere anytime.

I do have a female friend though who is special. I used to attempt to date her, found her not as open to dating compared to other girls, so I quietly gave up. However, she is that kind of special person that I just chat very naturally to. We go through phases of getting really close, then drifting apart cos of laziness/busy stuffs, but after a couple of weeks we drift naturally back together again. All quite effortlessly compared to how tiring it was maintaining a relationship with other girls.

So I was thinking, is it perhaps just better that you should be with the person you can chat most naturally to? The romantic attraction might not be present, or one-sided. Maybe they're not the mature reliable person you can count on either. But they are your best conversational partner for the past few years already, so perhaps, just perhaps, the best person to spend your life with? When life gets boring, mundane and tough, you know you two can still strike up a conversation no matter what.
