So after having been played in my previous relationships, lied to and cheated on, I feel like I have developed some trust issues. It’s been building up for some time, but the final relationship where I found out he was cheating changed something inside me completely.
I’ve started having these random thoughts pop up in my head like ‘oh that’s a nice shirt my brother is wearing... wonder if he’s about to see a side chic’ or ‘This dude looks hot and seems smart - he must be a good player’. And this happens all the time, whether it’s a stranger or someone I know, (and know they wouldn’t be a cheater, but can’t help but feel like that). In the back of my head I started subconsciously seeing a liar in every guy, thinking that some are just better than others. I even stopped wanting a relationship at all, as I feel that at the end of the day they will just play me and hurt me all over again.
Is this what you call trust issues? And how do I deal with this? People say that I’m still hurting and just need to heal, but I’m not sure, - I’ve been hurt before but I’ve never felt this way before... it’s something completely different. I’m well off so I could afford seeing a psychologist to talk about this - do you think I should? Or would it be unhelpful and do I really just need to wait?

Not talking about players who play sports! :P
These players are playing with people's hearts and emotions and exploiting people's vulnerability to get what they want when it comes to dating / relationships - male and female players.

He only talks to me in real life. Whenever I text him, he only replies with short answers and the conversation doesn’t continue. In real life, we talk everyday and he doesn’t mind body contact from me. He avoids body contact from my female friend such that he changed place to stand beside me instead of my friend. I place my arm on his shoulders he doesn’t seem uncomfortable too. There was once when my hand was still on his shoulder and he turned his head such that his face touched my hand. I’m pretty sure he felt it but he didn’t react and his face continued touching me for around 3 seconds. After that I went to Google for signs a guy likes you and it states that if a guy doesn’t avoid body contact from you, that’s a very good sign. We aren’t very close in real life but we are friends and have been classmates for 4 years. He tends to borrow books from me. I’m sure he isn’t a player or a jerk and he isn’t super close to any other female classmates. He’s just a gentleman. But there’s a girl in class whom he doesn’t seem close to but I know they talk online. He even lend her his sweater but I haven’t see them talk in person b4. I’ve been seeing this girl hold on to his jacket for around a month and I’m getting really confused, is he secretly dating the other girl or something? Or does he probably like me for a little bit? Is he closer to me or the other girl?
