There's this guy that was in my physics group. We had 8 tables with 4-5 people at each, and I was at a table with 4 guys. The guy next to me was kind of popular, and in each class cession, he would like tap my foot with his, and nudge the base of my chair. He would also purposely roll his markers on the desk so he would have to lean over into my space to get them. I can't decide if he's just lazy with his feet, or if he's interested, because he never talks to me. Either way, I'm really really NOT interested. I'm 5.10, and he's like 5.7, and he's not very attractive to me. (Don't ask me why he's popular lol :o) And even though were in high school, he kind of acts like he's still in middle school. Anyways, our groups have changed and were not next to each other anymore, but I can't help wonder..

He is of same origin as me but went abroad to study but I have been in my home town ever since. I'm very simple and have a small family of just me mom dad and my bro. We never saw or met each other in person but he wrote to me in FB which I ignored twice for a year and finally replied one fine day and after that we talked for 2 days all day and suddenly on day 2, he asked me for a serious relationship with intention to marry and I agreed. He also introduced me to his mom on the video call right after that on the same day ( after our second online date got over). We never sext-ed but we did talk about love, got to know each other fast track, our hobbies, education and career. It's funny that we are together since more than a year now 2020, 3rd April ( I was 23, he 24) we entered into a serious relationship ( he proposed to me). He is richer than me ( which I got to know later). His mom said me that at 26-27 you both will get married and both are very excited. I don't know sometimes how can anyone be so confident so fast? How can his mom/family be so confident for me? He is honest and loyal too and surprisingly I've been too. His dad and all relatives know of me too. Sometimes I used to be afraid if they're playing me or anything, but I tried to research to check if he is genuine and it turned out that he is. One thing is that he lied to me about the fact that his dad is in textiles but his dad is a director of a fortune 500 company. We talk less ( does not share his lifestyle ) but he keeps assuring me that he loves me may be so that I don't feel insecure or inferiority complexed. He tested me many times to make sure I'm not a gold digger ( which I'm not). I refused to take gifts or give one and anything else related to money and yesterday on a conference call with him and his mom, his mom keeps opening up to me like once in 6 months, of what all they have, slowly and I feel good but I don't express that I feel good and I'm like ok and then we end the call.

(in my 20’s.. not 20-35) so he burps occasionally, it’s usually one that just comes out of nowhere, the accidental ones, and he’ll say, “oh, excuse me.”
Well, last night, we were on the phone playing a video game together, he does one of those, and burps just.. gross me out. I don’t ever say anything, especially with those accidental ones, but I guess because I had my AirPod in, and it was right in my ear, I instinctively said, “ew, gross.” I really didn’t even think about it when I said it.
and he kind of laughed and said, “what do you mean gross? it’s just a natural body function that happens sometimes!”
So I laughed, “I’m sorry, burps just really kind of gross me out! “

he again reiterated they were just a natural thing, then he goes, “oh they gross you out do they, how about this one?” and he purposely burped that time. I said that’s nasty, asked him please don’t do that, he laughed, and did it again. I mean, I’m laughing through all of this, but still said “so gross, please don’t, you’re nasty.” and he was like, “what!! why!! I am not gross, I’m not nasty!”

this guy acts like he’s super into me, but then will do something like this.. I felt this interaction definitely showed me I’m in the friend zone with this guy.. would I be correct in assuming that?
