Let's say you are in a relationship right now but that person isn't your soulmate or destined to be husband/wife forever.

A fortune teller who is concerned about you and has accurate readings tell you that the person who you're in a relationship right now will devorce you within weeks or months after marriage. However, if you leave that relationship and wait, your soulmate will come to you soon and be with you until death.

Would you leave your current relationship and be with your soulmate? Or stay and just bear with the consequences because you still love your bf/gf?

Wouldn't it be better to leave now than to be hurt after the devorce? Or stay since your soulmate came too late so they have to wait?

For the sake of argument, let’s say that the person you killed is not someone whose existence—or death—has any implication on your life. This person is, for all intents and purposes, a stranger to you. You could, if you wanted to, continue living your life exactly as is if you choose to keep your role in their death a secret.

In this hypothetical scenario, "live forever" means that you are alive from now into well beyond the foreseeable future, including the death of our solar system, possibly the end of our race (if we haven't colonized elsewhere by that time), and whatever reality lies beyond that.

You exist as though you have advanced regenerative healing. You’re basically indestructible. If you somehow destroy your physical body, it simply regenerates within moments.

- You don't need to eat, drink, sleep, or even breathe—although you still feel the need to do these things (though, perhaps with time you can learn to ignore that need).

- You're immune to detrimental environmental conditions, such as extreme heat/cold, pressure changes, noxious gases/chemicals, etc.

- Your body does not age or appear to age.

Additional caveat: you cannot render yourself unconscious for longer than 12 hours per day.


If you choose to die within the next 24 hours, you don't know what kind of death awaits you, or exactly when within this timeframe it will happen—only that by the end of 1 day's time, you'll be dead.
