Just for background: we chat a lot and we laugh a lot around each other. I think we both enjoy having fun/entertainment and can talk about different subjects... he's really popular at work and is good at talking to anyone. I am more kept to myself and not the most exciting conversationalist or great at making everyone happy like he is.

I mean he probably doesn't like me romantically and i can live with that. But damn we are at work so i dont wanna be too weird. Although since he has asked me stuff like if i go to parties and we talked about stuff like drugs or whatever, i dont think its too out there, but if i brought up relationship type topics it would be pretty clear i like him... lol kinda embarassing and then he would have to respond to knowing that im interested in him.

My boyfriend of three years and I broke up, for like four days. It was a hard time and I was very upset and hurt. Long story short, we talked and worked it out and we are back together. by the way, we have lived together for a majority of our relationship. But, once I told my mom and sister, that we are back together they have been so negative. I have been in multiple relationships where I have been hurt and I have listened to them when it comes to it. But now, that I am making my own choice and choosing to stay. They make me feel horrible for it. by the way, he didn’t cheat or anything or done anything horrible to me. We just weren’t really discussing what bothered us in our relationship. Anyways, now that we are back together. It’s been maybe a month or so now, they make me feel horrible for getting back together. My mom keeps saying “you guys argue all the time” when we literally don’t. And even if we did, I don’t tell her everything because of her reaction. I purposely don’t tell her stuff because she will hold onto it and make it a big deal. My mother and my sister also said they’re waiting for our relationship to fail and said that I’m not as strong as a woman as I think I am because we decided to get back together. I get that they’re trying to be protective and such. But they can also be supportive even though then don’t agree with the decision. And every time I ask them to be more supportive they start yelling and say that they are being supportive but continue to tell me how much of a failure my relationship is going to be and how i should listen to them and leave the relationship still. It’s almost like they’re mad at me for not making the decision they want me to make. I have been dating this man for three years and I am not going to just breakup because my mom and sister will think negative things. I’ll do it if I want to. And I’m 25 and he’s 24. But am I just misinterpreting their words or does it sound like they’re trying to control my decision?
