I work with this girl who I strongly suspect is a sociopath, for these reasons:

-She asks many personal questions about me and I feel like she's trying to probe for weaknesses
-She remains very detached and aloof with people but is always watching and listening intently, gathering information on them, trying to analyze them and get a sense of who they are
-She makes herself out to be the victim in nearly all her stories, and tries to gain pity by painting herself as "socially awkward" and "naive" even though I have seen her be the complete opposite of that and function at very high level of social manipulation
-She says things like "I'm so awesome" and talks to herself a lot, as if she's enthralled by the sound of her own voice
-She seems to have a Jekyll & Hyde personality, where sometimes she seems like this innocent, vulnerable person but then can switch in an instant to this cold, conniving, calculating person

In short, it's like she presents a mask of innocence, naivety and vulnerability, which makes people feel bad for her and want to take care of her. Then once they open up to her, she gathers information on them and turns around and uses that information to control them, almost to "rule" them, as if they're her puppets. I get the sense this is what she wants.

Is this girl a sociopath?
