White women and other women who aren't black can freely rock whatever clothing style and hairstyle/hair color they want. Nobody says nothing or look twice. Once a black woman does this we're judged harshly and people stare as if we have 10 heads. Can someone explain?

i find it so comfortable and the flowing feels a bit like flying for me. Which is extra cool in my case bc I do have numbness in my legs so creating flow even visually, adds to better function.

A friend of mine who is a seamstress, is helping me with a pattern that resembles this dress so of course when we are done I will want to wear it!

I do wish people dressed like this casually or at least didn’t care who wears what bc I’m sure in most situations I will appear to be out of my mind just bc of the clothing which is, unfortunate.

Still I’m looking for creative ideas other than costume party, on stage, or wedding 🙃
