I posted a quote that didn't mention government and taxes and got told I was really talking about taxes and lying when I said I wasn't.

I pointed out that someone's own link "proving" Trump's approval rating was 52% went to a page saying it was 50%. :) (I gave a better link, that showed it was, for a day.)
Is this statement about Trump true?

I was called a liar for saying that nobody is forcing anyone to marry anyone of a different creed, colour, or sexual preference. (And got called a liar again while they agreed with me.)

Like the years. My skin has seasons. In the spring, fall and winter time. I look like a white boy. So when I speak Spanish to anybody it throws them the fuck off like they fell off a cliff

But during the summer my inner mexican shows and my skin gets DARK. In the summer I look like what they call... a beaner. And all I have to do is go out in the sun for 3-4 hours and I’m already dark.

So to me, gender/sex, race, ethnicity, physical disabilities, etc... none of that has ever mattered to me. As long as you were human, I'd consider you my equal, and worthy of being my friend.

But looking around work and at my school, and in the public in general, segregation is still quite common. Most people who hang out together seem to be of the same sex and the same race. Like over here you have a group of all Black dudes hanging out, and over there is a group of only White women, and over there is a group of Indian women, and over there is a group of slightly tanned Hispanic dudes...

To me, personally, that has never mattered. If anything, I went out of my way to talk to a large variety of people, so I can learn more and am not just limited to one world view or mindset. Plus, I wanna have a large variety of people as my friends-not people who all think, look, and act all basically nearly the same.

I don't have any super close friends in general, as I prefer to keep to myself and don't like opening up to people... in that case I have absolutely 0 friends except for my mom and dad... but I have several casual friends of each and every race/ethnicity/nationality. And it's great, really. I get to learn so much more.

But most people around me seem to only stick to people who are most like themselves, so... while the majority of people are not racist like they were back then, race still seems to play a role in society, liking it or not.
