What I mean by "settle", is that people take what they can get basically.

I overheard some guys talking about girls who they wanna bang at school and it got me thinking... what if people just settle with what they can get but secretly deep down want someone hotter? I am taking about men, women, everyone. If they could get someone who is really hot, despite human morals and desires, would they do so and not settle? Would they chase after that really hot person if they liked them back and forget the person they fell in love with first?

For example if a super hot celebrity wanted to date you, would you take it, or settle with what you think you could get?

I asked my boyfriend what what he thought about this and this is what he said:

"I believe that appearances have nothing to do with true love. Appearances are deceiving after all. Someone that truly cares for you will accept you no matter what. Someone who will always think the other is beautiful. And if someone were to leave over something that shallow, they were never worth the time in the first place"

So are looks more important than I think, or am I overthinking and underestimating people's sense kf
judgement?

I people will say get over it, it's just social media. I don't get angry or say stuff to him but secretly it does make me down and feel sad. I'm not there liking men with their shirts off etc, . He only ever likes celebrities and stuff never random girls but I still feel a bit disrespected. If he was to just look at these pictures fair enough but why like then knowing, I'm going to see it.

Honestly what's your thought on it? Even if you don't make a big deal out of it would it bother you?
