Why does my boyfriend want me to be the exact opposite of his celebrity crushes?

So my boyfriend thinks Megan Fox and Alex Morgan are super hot, but I don't think I look anything like them! Plus, he is always saying when he finds attractive women hot in front of me. Yes, it bothers me, but I've done it to get back at him once with a guy celebrity and he didn't really seem to care, he just found it as a fun competition. I've even heard him and his friends talking about which guys are the most attractive along with women. So that's not the problem. We have been dating for 2 years, and my boyfriend wants me to be nothing like his celebrity crushes! He wants me to dress super modestly, no almost too short shorts or dresses that you can't wear a bra with (even though I have smaller boobs so it's not gross or anything), no bikinis that show too much of my butt unless I wear a towel the whole time outside of the pool, and no tops that accentuate my boobs too much. It's cute that he is protective over me but it's extremely annoying that he is always talking about how hot other chicks are that might as well be wearing a bathing suit down the street in heels. I want to be sexy to him sometimes, not just cute all the time. He is always calling me cute and beautiful, but rarely sexy, except for the rare occasion in bed. Plus all of his celebrity crushes have dark hair, and last year he told me I should dye mine blonde! When I pointed this out to him, all he said was, well blondes have more fun! When I asked him about the clothes thing, he just jokes around and says stuff like why are your collar bones showing? Or why aren't your hands covered? He even made me throw out all my short shorts last summer, and it's hard to feel sexy or confident when you look like a prude walking around a bunch of gorgeous women showing off their bodies. I love him to death and I plan on marrying him after we finish college, but it's just driving me insane to know why he wants me to be so different from the girls he finds hot!

That sounds pretty controlling, but my theory is maybe he wants you to be covered up so other guys aren't checking you out? Not sure about the hair thing though. You definitely want to work out the controlling issues before you get married.

There is a difference between hot/sexy and attractive/pretty. Understanding that difference will make you understand what he is on about.

That he dictates what you are wearing is a whole different story altogether.

Shallow people are into shallow things. If you cry after shallow guys then your choice of guys is plain awful. Same for guys who cry about girls only wanting a big dick / bank account / Brad Pitt lookalike.

I value his opinions and understand that he doesn't want other guys seeing me that way, and I didn't mind throwing them out. I just want to know why he wants me to dress different than the women he thinks are hot. He has made sacrifices for me too, such as stopped talking to one of his best girl friends that I didn't like.

Why didn't you like his best friend? That's not right that he had to lose a friend just because you didn't like her? To answer your original question, I am not sure.. Maybe he wants you to be unattractive so other guys won't like you and you'll feel ugly and stay with him, which is total bs manipulative behavior.
