Im gay by the way. But I've met this girl on twitter and we Skype and text and talk on the phone ALL the time, i even met her a few months ago in person for brief time without my parents knowing while she was on vacation near where i live. I'm confident she or her wonderful family would never hurt me if i came but if i went to see her for 24 hours, my parents couldn't know because they both have the mindset that everyone online are serial killers (so not true). And gosh i really like this girl and would just about do anything for her, but i dont wanna put my life in too much serious danger. So would it be safe for me to fly alone even thought im only 18 and a girl? ( im also 5' tall which makes me small) Any opinions on the whole situation? Suggestions?

I'm dating a 24 y/o and my parents don't approve. They haven't even met him. I can honestly say that I have never lied to my parents about anything before. I have always done whatever they asked even if it was unfair. I feel so bad for going behind their backs, but I really like my boyfriend.. He makes me happy. I have been a puppetdoll for my parents for my teen years. I have done things for their happiness, and put my feelings aside as if it was nothing. I always told myself that when I turned 18.. my life will stop being theirs, and it'll become mine. I love my parents, but I have to love myself too, enough to do what makes me happy. I agree that adults should abide by their parents rules as long as they live in their parents household. I'll always respect my parents, clean up the hour, come home at curfew, whatever they want. But I think parents who try to interfere with their adult children's love lives... like telling them who not to date is a bit controlling. I know the age difference sounds bad, but he really is a special guy. Am I wrong?

I would be the first person to ever live in this apartment. Is this a steal? Should I invest in it with a one year contract?

Lovely apartment. Small and cozy yet not too cramped. The company has various saftey features as well as a dog park, a gym, a 24 hour laundrymatt, a trail by the gym, and three pools. What do you guys think? Should I invest in this or stay at home and save? What are the pros and cons?
