I’ve been talking with this guy for two weeks now. He wants to meet but due to me having a protective father, I’m waiting to see if he’s worth meeting my dad or not. He seems to respect my decisions but I can tell he wants to meet so badly. He’s told quite a few people about me. He told his grandma and showed her a picture of me earlier! Besides him being sweet, he’s been calling me “baby” and “princess” like it’s my name. He calls me beautiful and compliments me constantly as well. I haven’t reciprocated any pet names back except “sweetheart”. I call lots of people that though. I am not used to guys acting like that with me. So I want to say that he’s saying it genuinely... People and looks can be deceiving though.

I’ve been thinking about it and is it off putting for him to say pet names and compliment me so much this early on?

Our baby is 3 months old. The last time he seen our baby they were 2 weeks old so it's been awhile. We still talked on the phone for hours after we broke up and we'd also argue too some days. Long story short I moved (he doesn't know where) and changed my number. I also stopped reaching out to him. He was abusive and unloyal among other things so I cut off all contact. The last time we texted he was calling me and texting but I didn't reply or pick up.

It's a long story but we had a abusive tumultuous relationship and broke up when our baby was 2 weeks old. I moved and relocated from his house with family. Unfortunately I couldn't live where I was at for too long so I thought about moving back with my baby father and his mom for a short while with our child. His mom said yes I could stay so I drove two hours. But when I arrived he was in his car with tinted windows and didn't even get out to see his child. He pulled off. I called his mom and she switched up on me saying "call my son I can't let you in" I kept calling him and he didn't pick up. I drove off for 10 mins and seen him parked in front of his house, i could've swore I seen a girl walking towards his car but shit was blocking my view from afar. By the time I drove up near him it's possible somebody could've gotten into his car. So anyway I drove up near him and he saw my car and pulled off again. He hasn't seen his child in 2 months, our child is now 2 1/2 months old now he and knows I'm in a bad situation what do you think. 🤔

He treated me very badly even before he got me pregnant. During my pregnancy he made my life hell and now the baby is born and he still does. I tealized that he just doesn't want to be a better man or father and come to terms with that though it's hard. The last time we talked he "I don't call you so please stop calling me. I plan on having another baby with someone else anyway" and our child together is less than 4 months old so that hurt me. So now I'm moving on and. So devastated. Should I block him or ignore his phone calls the way he ignores my phone calls?
