Maybe I just don't understand this because I'm not a girl myself. I was reading an article which said that a survey of women found that the part of their bodies they least liked was their midsection. This, to me, is baffling. It's our midsections that allow us to be flexible and move and bend in the first place. It allows the fetus to grow during pregnancy. It is a very sexual part of the body by nature, and it has a lot of purposes. Why do people not like it? It doesn't need to be toned or slim, it just needs to house our internal organs. I could see someone not liking their butt, because our butts don't serve as much of a purpose and it is hard to appreciate them if we don't like how they look. Same with other body parts. But waist, stomach, core, midsection. Crucial muscles are housed there, organs are housed there, and it is heavily associated with pregnancy. How can people not like it given all the functions it serves. I really don't understand. Might be a stupid question but I'm having a difficult time understanding this

See how the middle of my stomach kind of sticks out a bit. Well, I found this other picture online where the person's stomach does kind of a similar thing. People commented on that picture saying the person had a stomach "pooch." I looked it up and apparently a pooch is something women often get post pregnancy as a result of the pregnancy. I also found out that a belly "pooch" is caused by excess fat. Apparently a lot of people have them post pregnancy. My question is this. I am a guy, but I have the same sort of protrusion. I don't think it can be a pooch, because I don't think guys can get pooches. So I was just wondering if it really is a pooch or if I have abs or something else. Do I have a pooch like the woman in the picture, or is it something else? (people said the woman in picture did so i took their word for it)

According to this graph, 51% of pregnancies in the USA are either "mistimed" (they wanted kids at some point but not now), or unwanted (they didn't want kids at all). Now of course, you may ask, then why did you have sex? Good question. Even better question, "did you use birth control?"

52% of the people whose pregnancy is "unwanted" or "mistimed" don't use ANY form of contraception.

Now of course, I'd mostly ask, if you are so irresponsible, then why the hell are you having sex, but the answer is they probably wouldn't be capable of parsing the question because, well, they apparently can't even bother to go to the store and buy contraception pills to at least try to reduce the chances. Who needs that, it's probably a government conspiracy, right?

So a possible solution would be to make temporary sterilization a standard process on children so that they wouldn't even be a risk factor unless they actually legitimately chose to have children.

Does it seem like an amazing idea?
