Paternity fraud actually is quite common, between 2-10% (depending on the source) of men are currently raising children who they believe to be theirs and are actually biologically someone else's. This figure is enough for me to know that if I do have a girlfriend who gets pregnant I will ALWAYS ask for a paternity test regardless of how much I love and trust her. Those 2-10% of men probably also love and trust their partners but are being duped into taking care of kids that are not theirs. One of the biggest reasons I've heard from men who have doubts but never ask for a paternity test is that their wife or girlfriend may be offended by it. Even if the child is biologically theirs, by that point their relationship with their wife or girlfriend is irrevocably damaged because of the "distrust" displayed by asking for a paternity test.

Women, taking into account that there are other men out there who love and trust their partners and are still getting used would you believe that if your partner asks for a paternity test it would simply be for peace of mind and not because they don't trust or love you?

The Girl Scouts just released an article demanding parents should stop making their kids hug their relatives (mostly directed toward girls). They argue that by making them hug and show affection toward their relatives, it causes girls to create misconceptions about consent. Rather, let the kids make the decision to hug or not hug their relatives.

In all honesty, I never liked hugging my grandparents as a kid but my parents made me do it. But, I in no way see how it'd skew my perception of consent. If I were to have kids, like hell they'd get to choose if they hug my mom and dad.
