I met this guy 2 1/2 years ago but about 1 1/2 years ago we actually talked and became friends.

Before he knew I had a boyfriend I got the feeling he was hitting on me.

After he found out I was in a relationship he would sometimes make side comment like "your boyfriend is so lucky!"

He even asked for my number but when I declined he gave me his.

I never used it cause I felt weird about it. Until one day in summer when I was catching up with all my friends I texred him too.

Since then we texted often like a few times a week. We established a bro/sis relationship this year.

He was telling me how he liked one of our other friends and that he knows she's no good for him and I told just to spend less time with the girl to get over her. Today he asked to hang out and he updated me.

He told me he isn't attracted to her anymore and that cutting time back helped but how he liked a different girl now.

Right before this we were talking about my major how I love it and he hates it. A little after he mentioned how the theory of "opposites attract" is crazy then he started talking about the old girl and his new interest.

Then he said "I'm just going to say this..." he pauses, I say "yeah?" And he says "nevermind."

Does it seem like I could be that interest? If so should I just avoid the subject with him? I only see him as a brother and I'm in a relationship. Him and my boyfriend are even associates (they met through me)
