In my example, I've been dating my boyfriend for 8 months. 2 have been long distance, 6 have been together. When we started dating he was a senior and I was a freshman. Though we are less than 2 years apart in age. He's my best friend, and my boyfriend. He's starting college, and I'm going into my sophmore year of highschool. I only plan on getting my associates degree because I want to be a vet tech, so if things go as planned I should be done with school in 5 years, when I'm 21. Then I can move in with him. We are both very trusting, and devoted. And I believe we can be one of the few to make long distance work, plus we have an end goal to work towards. Of course we will visit and currently we aren't too far away. Please don't make comments about cheating, I'm not naive, I know it's possible. But I know him and I know myself, and I will choose to trust until given a reason not to. Right now my only doubt is that with the distance, since we are still growing we may become different people than we once were, which is bound to happen. But wether or not we still feel the same for eachother is what matters. People who truly know us say they think we have a fair shot, those who don't say long distances never work. I have thought things through, weighed the pros and cons, I know he is a wonderful guy and guys like him are hard to come bye these days so I'm willing to take my chances. I just want your opinion, Would you do it for your loved one and yourself? Do you think it's possible for me and my boyfriend?

I will provide a couple examples:
- If a woman wants kids and marriage as one of her goals in life, but man doesn't... she follows his agenda (or wait endlessly for years to see if he change his mind... either way, he already got her to waste years) and compromise for him.
- If a woman wants to be doctor but her man tells her to quit school for him and become a traditional housewife, she'll do it.
- If her man tells her to do more excercise if she loves him and that she has to be at 125 Ibs, she'll do it and so on

Meanwhile I have yet to hear of a man compromising/accomodating for a woman and following her agenda. It's mostly about women giving up their goals and sometimes values for a guy.
