Search Results: attracting certain guys

Just curious, I have heard a story where two teenagers in South Africa hated each other's guts and were mean. They went to some event and he saw someone starting to make inappropriate advances on her. She was scared. He went and saved her, they dated, then fell in love so quickly.

I also hear of guys that act a certain way to make girls they like mad at them and dislike them and they eventually fall in love. Not like the girl is attracted to someone doing something bad to her, like masochism, but just the strong emotions.

They say "Be mean to keep them keen"

To quote Eclipse after Jacob forces Bella to kiss him and she breaks her hand punching him:

Bella: "I hate you, Jacob Black."
Jacob: “That’s good. Hate is a passionate emotion.”
Bella: “I’ll give you passionate, murder, the ultimate crime of passion.”

As the story goes on, she really does have feelings for him.

And not to mention teasing and making fun of someone is a favourite flirting technique of many, they would not do it unless it worked.
