Search Results: collecting things

So, I was walking with 2 friends (a guy and a girl) and the guy offered the girl and I chocolate, the girl said no and i took it and was like "thank you". However, he gave me the chocolate with the label turned the other way (basically gave me upside down so just the ingredient were shown) and unnoticed it was white chocolate after i collected and turned it the right way.

Immediately then after I noticed, I asked if it was white chocolate he said yes and I said "oh, thank you so much, but I don't really like white chocolate" and I handed it back to him. Then the girl goes in front of both of us

"That's so rude, that's really rude, like that's mad rude"

then she went on and on saying how rude of me it was to give him back.

Keep in mind she was saying all of this infront of the boy that offered us the chocolate.

I then spoke to her later in private telling her I have no problem with her correcting me, but she shouldn't infront of people.

The thing was I wouldn't have eaten it because I don't like it (white chocolate) but she was telling me I should've given a friend instead of telling him I didn't eat white chocolate.

Then at at the end she was trying to make me feel bad.

How would you handle a situation like this if this if you were me?
