Me and my boyfriend been together for 1 year and 2 months
My previous relationship was messed up - I was going out with him for 6 months when I caught him with another girl. I found out this girl is his "main chick". They had been dating for 3 years. So this means im the "side chick" so yeah he has been cheating on me this whole fkn time. This ended 3 years ago
So I started having trust issues with men ever since then
I still have trust issues to be honest and I think its affecting me and my current bf's relationship
Lately, everything he does, I have been accusing him of cheating and trying to attract women
For example, he has been training at gym for 8 years and always uploading photos of himself at gym
I know this is his thing and to see his progression but lately I keep thinking that he's training at gym and uploading photos to attract women and trying to get their attention
I was going mental about it and kept nagging him how he's trying to get other girls attention and stuff like that
And he said to me:
"you got freakin issues. You need to get over your trust issues and your past. Im not the same guy you dated that messed around with you. Im a different guy. I have never cheated on you. If i wanted to, I couldve done it ages ago. I wanna be with you. Im trying so hard to be patient but one day Im going to click. If you keep doing this and can't trust me then how is our relationship going to work? I trust you with all my heart and you dont even trust me. You need to see a counsellor or talk to someone close to you. If you keep doing this, its going to ruin our relationship. Please fix yourself. I can't fix it for you. You have to fix this part by yourself. If you can't trust me, then dont be with me. "
Am i right to be upset that he wants me to see a counsellor?

Alex is 23 years old. He is a college graduate, religious, and has a degree in engineering. He graduated from college but never could find a job in his field. They all rejected him because he had no experience. or jobs were taken. Alex got his first job at Walmart and only makes 8 dollars an hour and is 70 thousand dollars in student loan debt that eventually got into 90 thousand ex was also getting treatment for a STD he got from his girlfriend. ( she cheated and passed on the disease) Alex loves his girlfriend and would often pay 200 dollars per date, spend half of his paycheck on her and was always nice and sweet to her. Boss says no and says he can only make 8 dollars an hour.

Then Dustin walks in. Dustin is a 21 year old man who's a high school dropout, who wears panties and but he's a self taught cyber security protector, with mad computer hacking skills. The boss knows that Dustin used to carry knives, cross dresses and has mental problems but Dustin made a good resume. ( Dustin has never worked here, and boss only knew him for two months) The boss tells Dustin he's highly intelligent, smart and offers him a job paying 23 dollars an hour, the boss says he'll also raise it to 30 and will pay for benefits. Dustin blushes and accepts. Alex is so angry he has a strong urge to beat, strangle and kill Dustin and his boss.. When alex first talks to Dustin, Dustin talks about how he likes to wear panties and touches his penis a little in front of Alex. Alex is so disgusted.

Well as we all know that the media and left encourages hookup culture and/or promiscuity and takes newer generations away from relationships
that being said, do you think that hookup culture or the culture non-relationship sexual arrangements is diminishing the future prospects for women for having a relationship?

Because what I have seen is most of the teen and young adults who sleep around because they can without thinking of the future and how this isn't good for them end up with either self esteem issues where they end up in bad relationships again and again which takes a toll on their mental and emotional health since they don't seem to find the right partner.

Once past the ages of 24-25 these women start to yearn for a fulfilling relationship with a loving partner who respects them and showers them with love with a possibility of being married down the line, but the non-douche, non-assholic guys who look for relationship usually stay away from those ladies who have a past of sleeping around and promiscuity because that shows a tendency of inability to hold serious relaationships which might lead to the guys ending hurt or being cheated on in the end.
And to be honest, if I were a guy, I'd have the same outlook.
I was one of those women in my late teens, but someone woke me up and made me realize the situation and changed since then.

But I hate it when I see women breaking down emotionally for not being able to find the right guys after years and years of sleeping around, hookups, friends with benefits.

I have known my step dad since 2007 but he officially became my step dad when my mom married him in 2012. He has a daughter that was born in February of 2002. That daughter has always been clingy towards him. The mother cheated on him and has been in a lot of bad relationships around the daughter, went through a mental breakdown and was on drugs. My step dad ended up having full custody and having to care for the daughter by himself in 2005. I was born in December of 1999 so I am still 17. Now my mom and my step dad had a baby boy in 2015 and he is currently 2 1/2 and a pain in the butt to deal with. He has my step dads personality but I think he is a little bit of a monad boy. He does like my step dad but he goes to mom when he's upset. So I guess he would be my step sisters half sibling because they have the same dad. I do feel kinda left out in a way... like I'm the only one with a different last name from all of them. I don't visit my dad either. It feels like they are all a family and I'm left in the shadow and dust staring at them. Anyways, my step dad is kinda a famous singer and recently went on a trip to NYC to do promo and preform a concert for charity. He took his daughter with him, of course but left his son with us. Why does the daughter get to go and miss school? The son should get to go as well. My mom didn't go because she has stuff to do here (we live in LA) and can't leave right now. We also have a nanny. The daughter also got to go to comic con and vid con with my step dad. Hell, sometimes he has promo is Australia or Germany and that bitch gets to go while the rest of us stay here! It's not all the time but it's not unusual if she goes. There have been times where all of us have got to go and kinda made a little trip out of it but that's rare. She's freaking 15, why can't she stay here. She doesn't need daddy, like she's 5! The son should get to spend more time with his father, he's super young. I don't know maybe I'm reading too much into it.

My parents broke up about 3 months after I was born because my mom cheated on my dad. The breakup was very bad and both of them hurt each other mentally in the process. I am currently 15 and gonna turn 16 in December. I guess I've always been a daddy's girl because my dad said from the get go I've always wanted him and never my mom. In 2007, my mom has a severe mental breakdown with drugs and tried to kill herself. My dad got full custody of me then and he also met my wonderful step mom that year. They got married in 2013 and she is so nice to me. I also have a 3 year old brother because she got pregnant. Anyways, my mom and dad haven't talked since 2007. Before that, I only got to see my mom on the weekends and even then they weren't really talking. I remember my dad used to cry about my mom all the time and say all this nasty shit about her. My mom has always had a bunch of different boyfriends, and she also has other kids. My mom messaged me on Facebook and invited me to my aunts (on her side, who I barely know) wedding that's in about two weeks. I told my dad and he said I'm not allowed over at my moms house and it's up to me whether or not I want to go to the wedding but just remember that my mom never loved me and wanted to abort me and she's also mentally unstable which is why I live with him. My step mom thinks it's a bad idea and I should stay home. My dad also doesn't want to talk to my mom but wants to find more info on the place the weddings at and will drive me there and pick me up. He doesn't trust my mom. Would this be awkward? I think her other kids are there too. Should I go? Would it be weird?
