My girlfriend became friends with a girl that She works with. They went on a business trips bonded and got close. Her co worker eventually got a boyfriend and went ghost. All of which I understand. My girlfriend was always there for her when she wanted to go somewhere or have someone to talk to. For my girlfriend; the co worker not so much. Her coworker texts that she misses her every once and awhile and that she wants to hang out but she never makes the effort. they work at the same place but Unless my girlfriend makes the effort she won't come and see her but she goes drinking with other people and doesn't invite her. I feel like maybe my girlfriend is pushing people away but then I realize that the less She stopped giving to the friendship the other girl stopped whatever little effort she put into their friendship. My girlfriend feels like she is only contacted when a work event or function is coming up and her coworker doesn't want to be alone. She feels used and wants to stop caring but she just wants a second opinion. My girlfriend can be abrasive but she has a good heart and she is a good person. Is she wrong?
