Search Results: should we break up marriage

We both came out of failed marriages. We fell madly in love. 18 months later we were engaged and shortly thereafter due to a challenge in her life, she and her kids moved in with me and my kids. Immediately the beautiful relationship began to fade. Merging two lives when you are older can be hard, but merging the lives of the kids as well was harder. She went to counseling. She asked me to go and willingly went with her. She asked me to go find a counselor for myself while she continued with hers. I was slow to do that - always focused on whatever fire needed put out, she observed. Last week she told me she wanted to break up - too much hassle from my kids and too little time from me. She is in the process of moving out. I don't want her to go - I love her. I've really only had two long term relationships. I've started counseling. Logically, giving her the space to move out and move on is the right thing to do. ... but I love her and don't want her to leave. I'm heart broken and struggling to do the right thing for the one I love. What should I do?

I am a Christian who strongly believes in my Christian values when it comes to dating, marriage, etc.
There's a girl that I am interested in, and - given she's always finding excuses to be around me in particular among other more telling signs whenever we're in the same place - she may very well like me back.

The issue is that she has been going out with a boy from her school for a few months now. I've never met him, and the only reason I even knew she had a boyfriend was because a friend of mine told me.

I never dated in high school, and I'm pretty new to the prospect of a proper relationship. If I am correct that she likes me back, my question is this -

Should I wait until she leaves him because her feelings have faded before asking her out, or is she waiting to break up with him to see if I confess?

I have avoided being forward or obvious with my feelings because I respect her current relationship, but was that the right choice? Should I have made an effort to show that I like her, or was it right to think I should avoid getting involved?

It would greatly hep if I could get the opinions of traditional Christians in particular, as they come from a similar background with similar values. Anyone is free and welcome to voice their own thoughts though, obviously
