Im a good looking guy with social anxiety so im off socially, girls get excited when i approach them and are really inviting. They actually try to work with me when im struggling to try to say what i want to say while guys would just look at me weird and not say anything. And i usually get sexual signals and advances from them after a little bit of being around each other throughout the semester. And they get excited when i ask them to hangout.

The only thing that changes it is when my social anxiety makes me appear by accident either creepy, a douche (or too douchey for her), a loser, or painfuly insecure (if thats not the same thing as a loser). It doesn't happen a lot even though im far from being "cool". And its usually the attractive ones that are the nicest and cut me the most slack. If any girls are cliquey towards me or think low of me because im slow or socially off its not the hot girls, its the ugly ones that are. Im not sure why but 90 percent of the time thats whos doing it when it happens.

I think people who complain about approaching girls and girls being the ones making the decision, which is almost always rejection, just aren't attractive. I've heard girls say they get annoyed when guys keep hitting on them in clubs but they wouldn't care if they were cute.

The only thing i agree with is that its a little annoying that when both of you are showing signs of interest the girl almost never makes the first move. But it doesn't stop me from doing it its just annoying.

And for the good looking guys who always get rejected, i feel like youd have to be socially awkward in the way that made you appear either creepy, too much of a douche, or a loser to make a girl who was interested in you lose interest and maybe even play around with you.

This has to do with mind games like hard to get where girls: Either interested or not, string a guy along by showing less/no signs of attraction.

In my opinion, a girl who is not straightforward and plays hard to get can hurt much more than a girl I ask out and says "no". I am a creature a honesty. I despise subtlety and have been duped over and over again in my young life that dishonest people are among my worst enemies.

Picture this: You are a guy who is having a crush on a girl who doesn't really like you. Instead of her saying "no", she plays hard to get and acts friendly and you think "hmm, she might be wanting me to chase her". It turns out, she was all along trying to distance herself from you for three months and you didn't know that.

So not only you got rejected, but you wasted so much time trying to know if she was into you or not.

That's the evil of "hard to get". You don't know if she wants the chase or doesn't really like you.

In this situation, if you want to know whether she likes you, be straightforward ask her out, she says "no", you got your answer so early and go on to another girl who might. like you.

So long story short, you meet this guy, you like him and he likes you too but not romantically (both ways). He becomes close to you and tells you about his crushes and stuff, while you still like him but you do not tell him and instead tell him you support him if he asks his crush out. Then after some time, he asks one of your female friend out (mutual friend) and still you don't tell him that you like him and still act as the best friend and support him. He gets rejected and you're the one he talks to, and you help him stop thinking about the rejection. Several months later, he realises that you have been here all this time and he's been blind to how compatible you two are (well he doesn't tell you that; he keeps this revelation to himself) and starts getting and showing interest in you.
Would you go out with that guy if he were to ask you out and you like him? Or would you feel weird about the relationship because he asked your (maybe best female) friend out instead of you?
