Guy which I've been talking to for like a month on bumble who I sort of already knew flaked on me twice. He sends super lengthy texts tho. The first time he flaked he was out with his brother and said he'd message me when he was done, I just went out tho cause I wasn't sure if he'd respond, and he responded at 10pm when I was already out. The second time, I was waiting for like over 3/4 hours for a reply after getting ready, as we had agreed to go out on Thursday. At like 9pm he said "sorry I just got out for work, been a big day. Are you around?" 10 mins later I said "all good! Yeah where" and he literally didn't respond till like 2pm the next day saying "oh what I really thought you were gonna swerve me after letting you down again. Were you in town last night" and I didn't respond, so at 7pm he said "are you out tonight" and "so we can make up for that drink" and then at 9pm "look I know I've been putting up some poor form. Let me know if I can make it up to you x" that was yesterday. (Side note - I talked to his friend/roommate on and off for quite a while, weird but we all took the same bus and were neighboors) Should I respond, if so what should I say? Or just leave it?

My boyfriend and I have had this reoccurring fights about how I sometimes let the small issues get to me easily. Issues meaning little things that he does that make me upset or a little annoyed.

He believes that patience and choosing not to have small things bother you, is the right way to handle smaller issues. So about 3months ago, we decided to try it his way. See if I can handle not getting upset over small issues. But it didn't go so well and we got into a huge fight.
I think that communication is important. If one person has something that bothers the other, they should come clean about it instead of letting it build up. It's a way to better understand one another. It's a way for two people in a partnership to come together. But my boyfriend says, communicating isn't who he is, and that's not the way he wants a relationship to go...
He needs to understand what ticks me off, but he is choosing to ignore the core problem and is telling me that I have a choice of being happy with him and I have a choice of not letting the small things get to me...
We are now on a month long break. He thinks that I'm wrong about communicating and doesn't think he should change anything. He doesn't understand why I'm mad and that I am to blame for for all the fights we've had...
He wasn't always like this... He was kind and caring when we first started dating... This was also around the time he started at his new job. He has been stressed about a lot of things...

Should I keep going at this relationship and try to resolve the problems when he doesn't even want to acknowledge them... Maybe he'll come around after this month...
I honestly don't know what to do... please help...
