I have to start at the begining beforeee this even happend.

A long while ago while hanging out with a few friends from uni we started talking about people touching our hair. It hadn't happend to me yet so I didn't have a horror story to share, one of my friends told us her story about some lady that came out of the bathroom stall who walked up right behind her and touched her hair oooing and ahhhing about how amazing the texture was. Of course my friend was disgusted and horrified this woman did not wash her hands and was touching her hair like she was a pet or something anyway my friend excused herself but told the woman "it was disgusting and wrong to do that to anyone". Now lets fast forward to 2 hours ago, I was waiting in line at my favorite bookstore and this woman came up to me and without my consent began pulling at my hair. When I slowly began turning around is when she started patting my head. ~Pat, Pat,(fucking) Pat~ I looked over at her holding it in because I did not want to scream at this woman I do not know her and I wasn't raised that way so I asked her kindly what she was doing she then said pretty rudely
"I don't like your hair and I really thought it was a wig". Now she sounded really disapointed and kinda mad too.
(Today I had straightened my hair (which takes a shit ton of effort I might add) ) Being as niceeee as I could be I said "Thats great because this hair is attached to my head and not yours" when I began to step away but before I went away from ear shot I heard her say to her friend or who I think was her friend and tell her "I can't believe how snarky they are". At this point I was done with her I reaaaaaaaaaally wanted to use my book as a boomarang and hit her over the head with it but I took a deep breath and walked away from her (Of course I bought my book)
