I am 22 and he is 29. I met this man a while ago and we instantly had a connection. It wasn’t romantic at first because we had many mutual friends. But somehow we started hanging out more and I realized that I was in fact interested in him in the beginning but was trying to block those feelings after finding out that he is married (I didn’t really notice the ring at first but rather around the second time we met with mutual friends).
We live in different cities but he calls me every single day and we find it so easy to talk and I feel as if I’ve known him for a long time.
He has been telling me about his problems with his wife, they have been married for nearly 9 year and says that every single day it gets worse and worse and their relationship is deteriorating so he thinks that people live only once and should be with those that you love. He says he will never forget his children and will always be a fatherly figure for them and support his wife and family financially and in whatever other we he can but he wants to “wake up with me and be with me”. This morning he txted me very early and said: I am so confused. I love my children so much and will never leave them because I know she will never let me see them again. I don’t want to be the man that dumps his kids.

I feel terrible. I was never the initiator of our relationship, and I knew from the beginning that a married man is a no go zone. I don’t love or have an interest for many men. And it disappoints me that the man that has found a place in my heart is married. I don’t want to break his family. I know our mutual friends will hate me and because we have many- I will probably be hated and I told him that and he said: well we only live once and I want to follow my heart.
Help. I don’t know what to do and am confused and feel terrible and want to drop all this immediately but it is so hard. Has anyone been in this situation?

Ok, so the last few months I thought a man was interested in me. Long story short I came out and told him. He looked mensatright in the eye and said you personallyvlikenme and I said yes, I like you a lot. He replied I like you too! Then he sort of looked down and said if things, the situa..( never finishing the sentence) then he said I’m married!
but then he’d say but I do like you too, looking me straight in my eyes. he looked at the ground and said I’m married again. But the end of the ten minutes. He had his eyes and face looking down and said “I’m married I’m happily married. I like you but not in that way, no.” All the whole looking down at the floor. Then he looked up at me and made eye contact and said I’ve been happily married for a number of years and then he went back to looking at the floor.
What is going on with all this looking at the floor business! HELP is he lying about his marriage? Does he really like me?

A married man I am friends with said that there is a show in his hometown which he knows that I would be interested in. He told me about it and then two days later he asked me, "Did you look up what I was telling you about?" and I said, "Oh the show, yeah I did" and he then asked me, "Are you going?" and then I said that I know them in the show and I would go where I live and he looked at the ground and he huffed and he said, "That's not what I asked you. Are you going?" and then he looked at me and I said, "No" and then he looked at the ground again and he said, "Right. That's all I wanted to know".

His wife was where he was working tonight and after he finished, he was sitting at the table beside her and then out of the blue, he turned around and he looked over at me for a second and then he got up, he walked into the corridor and then he turned his back to the wall, he stood against the wall, he looked and he smiled at me. No one could see him looking and smiling at me from there.

Did he want to go to the show with me? Why did he look and smile at me when no one could see him? Was he flirting with me when he smiled at me in the corridor?
