I met this girl on Facebook the summer before going to college. She seemed chill but I wasn't interested in a relationship at the time. Usually if I was open to a relationship I'd make it obvious to a girl in interested in that I don't want to stop at being friends. I didn't do that here and after a whole semester the two of us became pretty good friends. We hang out, talk about the most random stuff, text often (not daily though and I'm usually the one to initiate), and I always mess with her about this friend of hers that I know had a crush on her too (but he hasn't made a move and she doesn't like him like that). Half way through that semester though I started having feelings for her. I want to tell her every time I talk to her exactly how I feel but I'm afraid of screwing up our friendship and losing her. She's naturally flirty and a mutual friend said that she was interested in someone else near the beginning of the semester but I'm pretty sure she's still single. We're planning a trip to New York City next weekend and right now it's just the two of us unless she wants someone else to come with. I want to take her ice skating and to see the tree and somewhere along the way tell her how I feel. It's supposed to be a whole day thing and we might be taking the same train into the city but definitely taking the same one home. Does she like me since she's coming with me and never asked about anyone else coming with? If she does how should I bring it up that I feel the same way? Is this a good idea also? Like what else can we do in the city?
