My cousin yelled at me and said I should thank my mother and respect her for giving birth to me. "With her you wouldn't be going to college" she said but from my point of view she deserves nothing. My earliest memories are being beaten for little mistakes, crying myself to sleep from at home bullying, and being called names by her. My 3 older brothers have gone in and out of jail and she has always compared me to them. I'm the one who's worked to get my good grades and I'm the one who got a job at 16 to save the small amount I have for college. If I hadn't threatened to fight her when I was 16, I have no doubt she'd have no problem slapping me when she's angry.
I don't get why a mother who has told me numerous times I'm no good deserves any praise or respect. As far as I'm concerned a parent is suppose to raise their kid without question. If I had a kid I would raise him or her, I think parents make the mistake of believing they're Gods.

In the movie Terminator 1, Sarah Connor is targetted for termination by Skynet (an A. I that becomes self-aware, goes to war with mankind, and loses to her son John Connor). In it's attempt to survive, it sends a terminator to kill Sarah to stop her giving birth to John. Kyle Reece, John's trusted allie also goes back to help Sarah destroy this terminator.

But the parts were left at Cyberdine Systems who then claimed them and began reverse technological design on them speeding up judgment day (the day skynet begins war) and are now the new creators of Skynet. The technology is even better but skynet still loses and sends an advanced terminator to kill John Connor as a kid. It fails but Sarah decided to destroy Cyberdine Systems aswell! This does mean though that the original skynet creators still exist whereever they are so the war would still happen.. but what she didn't do was kill all the people working at cyberdine? ;O being jobless would mean they'd all disperse into other companies and create diversity in better designs.. is this even worse? i think so.
