Do you like, or not like, exploring random fictional 'what if' scenarios?

I have found that throughout my life, I have met way more guys who have posed questions like this, than girls. Especially when in young-mid 20s, I think.

GAG is a good place for questions like this too. I do notice them sometimes but haven't paid attention to a pattern of what demographic is asking them. Anyone noticed a pattern?

I'm most interested in why guys would like these more (but we'll find out on the poll if that's not true and it's about equal with both genders.)

They can be imaginative, fantastical, catastrophic, trying to predict the future, something either potentially plausible or completely implausible.

(Have you seen the ones, 'What if there were no men on Earth? Or no women?") Don't let the pictures limit you. These are just some vague examples to get you thinking. Topics could be anything.

So okay, why does it seem that any question or mytake I post is being put under the sexuality topic, even though that's 'not" the topic I selected? And then an hour or two later I'll get a message from GaG saying my post was moved to the topic I selected in the first place. 🤷🏼‍♀️ One user suggested jokingly because of all my questions/ polls and takes on sexuality anything by Ms. BBB is sent to sexuality topic by default. But after just posted another question that should of went to GaG community and popped up in sexuality, starting to wonder if he right? lol (we'll see where this question pops up) Is this happening to anyone else?

I feel its a MUST. What if one of you are ok with spanking and one is not? One is ok with gender neutral and one is not? One is ok with raising them religiously and one is not? One is ok with letting the kids cuss and the other is not? One wants to allow the kids to have a pet and the other does not? These are important people 🤷‍♀️ But also, when is the best time to question your potential partner? Some would say once pregnant or trying to conceive but i personally would like to know this before even jumping in the sack. I need to know before the 3 month mark because if we can't come to a compromise then we’re wasting time. On the poll, which refers more to you? My mom was a mixture of A and B (mostly). Im going to be a mixture of A (mostly) and C. What about you?

I have worried that friendships don't form in my life because maybe some can tell I was abused growing up and they don't want to get closer.

I want to try to find out Why there seems to be a barrier stopping friendships from forming (a condition which has been present for many years now and is really taking its toll).

I was told by a professional that I have a flat affect: its when your face during interation or conversation with someone shows no emotion or change and supposedly this is disconcerting for the conversation partner to witness, to the point that they will not want to talk to you in the future or think that you are emotionless or psychopathic.

Internally (especially in private) I am emotional, but when in front of people there usually an energy drainage in procession: As much as I feel attached or caring towards people, especially certain ones, quickly I lose energy around them.

I also just do not want to be open, and this is instinctive. I have so many memories of being harassed and feeling so low down growing up from childhood and all the way into high school. Not sure if that is typical for everyone else but that feeling of not belonging, fear, and feeling like something was always wrong with me and needed to be changed to fit in, and never succeeding at fitting in defines my period of growing up. Not only was I facing bullies in peers but my caregivers tore me down too.

So the question here was if people can sense I was hurt and broken down growing up and if this is something that is making them not be attracted to friendship with me.
