It is definitely a very big privilege to even be able to consider it in the first place. Definitely a very first-world thing, and it is much easier when you have a lighter flow, stay at home and can afford to have spare clothes and towels and deal with the load of laundry!

I personally have no desire to bother with it, but I do want to learn more about it. Sometimes I skip over any menstrual product and simply rely on period underwear towards the end, even then I don't entirely love it because washing it is so tedious. I would totally hate free bleeding then!
