It’s something I’ve just noticed recently. I feel like there’s nothing more beautiful than finding someone within your culture and own skin tone because you are making a statement. I am a dark guy (race unknown) and would love a dark girl (race unknown) because I love my brown skin and culture.
However, I can kinda understand white people in a sense because society seems to be attacking them and their culture. Other cultures are more at peace and allowed to celebrate it.

I met this girl over Zoom and hit her up; we started texting occasionally and studied together for an exam over zoom. We studied only for an hour and just talked for about 2 hours. She is new to the area, and she wanted to grab coffee but was nervous about doing so because she was new. However, it was surprising that she mentioned that she has a roommate with whom she could've grabbed coffee with, but she instead went with me.

I asked her, "would you like to grab it with me" and she instantly said yes. We set up a time and place and offered her my number, but she instead gave me hers. It seemed like if I hadn't hung the call-up, she would have still been talking to me, anyway. We met up the next day. She was very shy in person, and it was me asking her the most questions. We grabbed coffee, and she paid for me. I don't know what that means. At one time, I accidentally invaded her personal space, and my shoulder was brushing against hers while ordering coffee and when I noticed, I jumped back, but she didn't seem to mind.

Due to COVID restrictions, we were not allowed to dine in. I offered if she wanted to go back to my car, which she agreed to. This was a bit surprising because she only knows me from a 2-hour zoom conversation.

We went back to my car, and I showed her the campus; and she eventually got out of her comfort zone and started asking questions, talking, and laughing at the dumbest things I said. After a few hours, I dropped her at her dorm, and she asked me a question related to schoolwork and said thank you for showing me around, and left.

She didn't text me afterward, but I texted her two days later, she responded quickly, and despite ghosting her unintentionally, she still responds fast to my questions and comments. I want to ask her for another date, but I don't want to waste her time nor mine. Is she interested or just being friendly?

I work in entertainment (large live venues, film/TV sets) and I have had a few people either try to get things like free tickets from me (not allowed ever) or see if they can tail me to set/pass on their info to someone higher up the chain (definitely not allowed and highly disrespectful). A lot of people seem to think this is a giant party all the time and when they ask, they either act like I'm lying, that I'm stuck up or just disappear.

I've caught a couple people mid statement letting their intentions slip and it bugs me, a lot. Im not against passing on things you can find yourself (show dates, cheap ticket spots, audition dets or names of CDs) but blatantly asking me for something like a role in a show (cannot do, wouldn't do if I could). The more work I get, the more common this has become and when I go on dates, I avoid the "what do you do" talk for as long as possible and when it inevitably comes around, I stay broad and vague.

Anyone else or am I just crazy?
