I've noticed some girls in relationships with super ugly guys. Im talking about U G L Y and they ain't got no alibi.

Even a girl i knew who i could easily rate a 10 had lowered her standards and dated some ugly guy after being with a guy women would easily find attractive.

-Do women date below their grade so as not to be challenged in a relationship when it comes to looks?

-Does dating someone who is less attractive make them feel more secure because they think that the ugly guy will be more loyal to her?

-Do women find it hard approaching attractive guys because they are intimidating?


I'm asking for a friend

I've found that in general, men and women do not "fall in love" together but rather one of the two will try to pursue or attract the other with a relationship in mind (or sex, if you're that kind of person). Furthermore, most would agree that is in someway more difficult to woo a pretty girl vs one who isn't quite so pretty.

That said, is there any objective difference between successfully courting an attractive woman and a more plain one (as a guy)?


If the answer is no, then likely the difficulty is that a man's confidence is affected, creating uncertainty and self-doubt. This is by far the most attractive option since it gives hope, but is it realistic?

If the answer is yes, than perhaps an attractive woman is intentionally pickier about her choice of romantic partners, knowing that she is in demand

I ask because I've grown increasingly sick of the invisible wall of separation that exists between me and some girls, simply because of some of my facial imperfections. I despise the thought of accepting a lower standard, or that I would have to hope that a beautiful girl would happen to have low enough standards to include me. It feels like being locked in a cage. I just want a girlfriend whom I can truly call beautiful without reservation so that I don't have to keep half-lying.
