My girlfriend and I recently broke up because of the fact of the age difference. She is 18 and I am 16 and we have a hard time seeing each other around her parents. We were together for 8 months. I love her dearly. She recently got together with this guy and she said they hung out a few times before we broke up, she mentioned she did not cheat. Less than a week after our break up. She changed her status on facebook. Which I heard was a sign of a rebound. She is 18 and the guy is 27. I think she is going for an opposite guy of me... He has a job, a car, and his own house. I of course being as young as I am have none of these. She told me she will always love me and was a very gentle breakup. This Saturday I have a chance to hang out with her and I am thinking about telling her how I feel. I am not sure if this is a good idea or bad? Now 2 weeks in with her rebound partner I am honestly scared and a bit worried. I am unsure on how long it will last and if I will another shot. At first I played the sad/beg card for 2 or 3 days. I agree that was a mistake. Since then I have flirted here and there and just been polite. She has responded friendly. What can I do to be certain I get her back? Any ideas?

I have a friend who insults me a lot and says I'm not a man enough because I rather to love my girlfriend and be loyal to her than cheating and having side chicks.
But my friend says there are scientific evidence that prove a real man or male in animals is the one who has multiple sexual partner and staying loyal is sign of weakness and not man enough.
Please help I don't want to to be less man than a real man but love my girl too. I want to start seeing other girls not because she isn't enough but because I want to be a real man.
