OK, so here's the thing, obviously thecnology will always march into the future, and I'm not completely against it, but I do feel there are aspects of life modern man is lacking because of our dependance on technology (yes I realize the irony of using a device such as my phone that has more computing power than the old computers that took up whole rooms).

I own and use a typewriter, yes I own a laptop aswell, but I find typing out my words on a heavy, sometime finicky machine to be very rewarding. I also enjoy hand writing, in fact the three novels I'm writing are all done on pads before I type them up on my typewriter, then afterwards I type them on my laptop. Up untilled very recently the only digital camera I've ever owned was my cell phone, and I love shooting on film, processing my negatives, and printing in a darkroom. I only use GPS when it's much more convenient, and prefer Orienteering with a map and compass. I have hunted and gathered for food, and find prepairing my own meals from nature much more rewarding to buying it from a store. I could go on and on really, but I won't bore you all.

The question is: Is technology creating a dumb race of humans, or is it just naturally progressing, and the old skills are un-needed? What do you think?

Same goes for guys, I notice these days people have forgotten that dating leagues do exist. Once you pass a certain point there are lots of people who simply DONT WANT YOU. accept it.
