Fox News on Monday afternoon issued a brief correction after spending several days pushing the blatant falsehood that President Joe Biden’s climate plan calls for limits to American red meat consumption.

“On Friday, we told you about a study from the University of Michigan to give some perspective on President Biden’s ambitious climate change goals,” Fox News anchor John Roberts said on Monday’s broadcast of America Reports. “That research, from 2020, found that cutting back how much red meat people eat would have a drastic impact on harmful greenhouse gas emissions.”

He continued: “The data was accurate but a graphic and the script incorrectly implied that it was part of Biden’s plan for dealing with climate change. That is not the case.”

Now that Donald Trump’s former economic adviser Larry Kudlow has taken his words of wisdom from the White House to Fox News, he wants the nation to know that President Joe Biden is plotting to force Americans to drink “plant-based beer.”

Egads. Apparently the man who declared COVID-19 “contained close to airtight” before more than 570,000 Americans died is not talking about the beer everyone drinks now. That’s typically made from grains, hops and yeast — and not an ounce of steak. (Additives may include animal products, like gelatin, but beer is definitely plant based.)

Basically, it's a fun little political attack. Especially when you compare it to a weekend of lies from the right-wing, saying the Democrats want to take away your meat. Here's all the apology anyone's going to get from Fox News:

I couldn't find a single study that proves herd immunity is even possible? Our bodies could get used to it, but if viruses continually evolve you could catch the first strain, skip several generations of the virus, then catch the nth variant and it will be just as deadly as the first. Can anyone post a link to a study that isn't just words that talk about it, but actually has numbers and proof?
