Search Results: why does he push me away

first time it happened was the very first time I spent time with her outside of class in person but her friend came with us. I had my headphones on and I was doing something on my phone when her friend asked her about some guy and she said something (I don't remember). I wasn't looking at them I was still doing something on my phone but when I looked up they were both smiling looking at me and asked if I heard what they said but I said I didn't (obviously I did). when we were sitting around eating her friend asked me if I wanted the rest of her chips but I said no and she gave them to the girl I like. she said, "I'll save these for him" obviously not me. the most recent occurrence was when we were eating lunch again. Her friend was there again (we have yet to eat lunch together alone) and some boys passed by and they started talking about how cute they were and afterwards her friend asked her, "hows your friend doing". (talking about some guy) . anyhow I never reacted I just keep doing whatever I'm doing but some people say either she's trying to push me away or she's trying to get me to make a move. so I think I should just give up but what do y'all think?
