Let's say you are talking to some guy you just met (face to face), you think he is cute/hot/handsome/attractive, there seems to be good chemistry, and you are really into him.

What would your reaction be if he said this to you, "how would you like to go out on a date on (whatever day)?" Not let's hang out, or we should meet again sometime, lets grab drinks, but just put it out there that he wants to date you.

I find that the dating "game" has become very blurry with no clear rules for the men (or occasionally the women, but you tend to make the rules to begin with). I also experimented and have found out that it tends to turn women off being so forthcoming.

Thoughts? Guys, your general reaction from the ladies that you have asked this daring question? Normally they say no, or I've found out after the fact that it made the woman feel weird and "formal."
