We have been friends since 2016, and we are really close. We speak every single day and I mean. Every. Single. Day. I wake up every morning to a 'Good Morning' Text; and recently he has started to come over to mine for some food, which 9 times out of 10 isn't planned. We go to places to get some food and chill out. He has stayed on the phone with me when I've been upset, even though it would get him into trouble and stayed out with me even though he would get in trouble.

We speak about anything and everything. Our conversations make me completely belly laugh and I know he does the same. (even when my jokes are S**t) We have had conversations about families and relationships, future aspirations and careers, moving away and marriage. He has even seen baby pictures of me.
He has complimented me before on what I was wearing and called me things like 'Miss Independent'. He has brought me food and offered to help me out if I’m ever in a financial crisis and help me when I move. He always mentions me in his future plans. He always remembers the things I did the first few months after we met.
He has met my Mom and siblings (Which he knows is a very big deal) and I have spoken with his Mom and to some extent, he has opened up to me. He has told me stuff like his fears and his goals for the next 5 years. His family seems to think that we are dating. Which is questionable to why they think that. i mean we get mistaken for a couple when we go to a restaurant.

However, he has known that I have liked him previously (which he said he didn't want to ruin our friendship) (this was like 2 years ago) and I'm trying so hard right now to play it cool.

What do you guys think? Does it sound like he is attracted to me or nahh? Help!!!

Short: One of my dearest old friends lives far away on another continent. The other day I expressed a negative judgement on his new girlfriend, he got disproportionately furious to the point he blocked me on fb (which is the only platform through which we keep in touch).

Long: He is going through a weird crisis moment since a year: he has a good degree and left his good job just because it was "boring" and got a mediocre job with no career prospects for which he wouldn't even need a degree... he had an amazing girlfriend, whom I adored and who would have been a source of stability in this moment, and he cheated on her and than dumped her for the new girl he is now dating, who is way below his standards. Plus i don't like her because she knew he was in a relationship and did everything in order to get him away from his former girlfriend, so she is not an honest person. I never told him anything because it's not my business, but the other day I didn't manage to keep my mouth shut and told him I didn't understand why he had left a girl like his former girlfriend for her... He told me he didn^t want me to talk to him anymore, and at my question wether he really thought this was worth ruining our long friendship he deleted me from fb...
