Girls have you ever coughed or raised your voice around a guy you like?

This girl always coughs around me whenever she see's me. My friend has classes with her and she doesn't do this in any of them but the ones with me!

And when I see her but she doesn't see me, she won't do it. And sometimes she is sorta loud around and laughs a lot but while talking to other people?

I will catch her looking at me also. I went to high school with this girl 6 years ago, she used to REALLY like me, smiled every time she saw me in halls really big.

But I was a dummy and didn't pick up on the signs until after I graduated! She is 22 years old, and I am 24 and I feel like she still likes me, just the way she acts around me and the look in her eyes.

She also has a boyfriend so wth? She got with him because she chased me for 2 years and finally gave up because I didn't do anything so I think he was just a safe choice he pursued her, I think he liked her the whole time but she liked me.

Why doesn't she break up with him if she is doing all this around me? It isn't fair to her or him, or me as I feel like I was punched in the gut every time I see them together. I don't see them hold hands anymore, has her relationship gone stale or something?

You all don't have to worry, I'm not the type to pursue a woman with a boyfriend, and will not talk to her no matter how noisy she is or how much eye contact she gives me.

When I saw them together even in their prime, she never had quite the spark/love in her eyes when she did with me we met in a VERY unique way and sparks were flying from the very start.

She thought I didn't love her, which wasn't true her friend told me this. Is that why she got with that other guy, because he persued her so long and she was tired of getting indirectly rejected by me? I felt the same.

What in the world is going on? I need your intelligent brains ladies!

Been pursuing this girl in one of my classes. I'm 18, she's 17, and we seem to have quite a bit in common in regards to common interests(hobbies, music, etc).

She's extremely cute and kinda quiet but can be energetic at times. When we text we usually go back and forth for quite a bit mainly in the night or morning (she's prob busy in the middle of the day as I don't get responses back), and she seems to be very enthusiastic in her texts. We mainly talks about common interests, like funny stories at work or our video game interests

Lately though I've been flirting with her and both in person and text(mainly text, don't see her that often sadly) and send sincere witty compliments that relate to the conversation.

Here's the kicker: She doesn't flirt back, she denies any compliment, and she may change the subject. I had heard from one of her childhood friends that I managed to befriend that she plays VERY hard to get, so this maybe why?

The second part that intrigues me is that she doesn't exactly reject me. If she was uncomfortable with my flirting/my advances, she would clearly stop talking to me or show negative body language right? But she doesn't

So I don't understand this girl and I'm sorta ready to throw in the towel.. but if I stay and pursue she may see "wow... he's really the right guy I've been waiting for"
