I like K-Pop, and it made my interest for Asian culture spark up. I’ve always loved learning about other cultures and languages probably because my parents come from different countries so I grew up with multiple cultures and languages. By learning a different language you also interact with those who speak that language too. But I’m afraid that people would say that I’m trying to be Asian and and criticize me for finding Asian culture interesting.

So today I saw my barista for the second time. We talked a bit, he's learning a new language. He asked me where I'm from. When I told him where I was from he spoke to me in Spanish a bit. I was shocked he knew Spanish. When he finished my coffee he's says 5$ I give him 5 and then he's oh my sorry I meant 5.40 something so he quickly pulls a dollar from his tip jar and I'm like no it's okay I got it. He says are you sure? I'm like of course. We talk a little more I laugh and then he asks if I want my receipt? I said yea I'll take it. He talks a little more tells me we will talk next time in English and Spanish. I'm like sounds good. Then I ask, is that my receipt? And he's like oh yes sorry here you go. By the way he looked nervous. As I was leaving he asked me what my name was.. do you guys think he might be interested in me?
