Search Results: meeting another girl

I've been talking to this guy for about 9 months or so on and off, we 'met' online. The reason why we haven't met yet was because I let my fear\anxiety get in the way. There has been so many times where I would say I would meet him and then I cancel. As he should, he got frustrated, and long story short we decided to not talk anymore and he didn't want to see me anymore. Usually I would message him from time to time but this time I didn't.

He messaged me a month later and said he was surprised that I haven't messaged him and was seeing me online all the time and wanted to see whats up. He told me he isn't talking to any girls. I asked if he wanted to see how things go again and said "I guess ". Even with meeting up he said if he has a good feeling about me etc then we can meet.

I was mad at him for a few days because of him saying "a friend told me I should hook up with you, but that is never gonna happen". It really hurt my feelings so I just focused on keeping my distance from him the next few days but he knew there was something up.

Finally, I decided to tell him I was mad at him and he so he set a meeting for us to talk the next day (he's my boss but kinda my equal too).

So the next day comes and I can tell it's all pretty chaotic. He cannot find a single moment to talk to me and I can see that. Then he leaves the office. I'm already figuring he's gone to lunch. But then he comes back and asks me if I had anything and if I wanted lunch with him. Later he asked me what I wanted and it seemed maybe he was wanting me to leave this time with him? (We always take turns going out to get lunch) I pretended I didn't notice.
As I was leaving later that day he apologized and said that we would talk soon.

Hour later, he's texting me asking if I had time to talk and then another saying since we had someone in the office tomorrow we should have time to meet or that I could call him tonight.

We talked on the phone for an hour and I let him know he hurt my feelings. He stated that he only said that because we work together. So I went ahead and agreed with his words it would never happen.

Today, I found out he was sick last night and today. He called out tomorrow.

Am I overthinking this or is this man in love with me? What should I do? We are having these 1 hour phone convos more often now and he's the only one that pays the most attention to me in there.
