Sometimes i have to go pick up bodys from the morgue, and if they are a car wreck victim all there property goes in a ziplock bag ie whatever was on them, they are usually in a sealed black body bag, a lot of the times they die with money in there wallet, is it wrong of me to take some of the money? Now keep in mind the money is not documented, we are responsible to give all property to the next of kin, we document the amount of money etc at a later time, ie i have plenty of time to take said money or personal affects before anyone sees what they had, now a next of kin could know what personal affects they had such as necklaces watches etc. So it would be dumb to take them. But money? So many people are in or around the property before we even get it sooo, im gonna say this now i could 100% get away with it, do i do it? Its not out of spite, here's a example of why my thought is like this, i can barley buy my kid formula and I've been eating ramen for dinner for a few months. Am i injust to do such a thing? I will never take a personal item someone died with, but im struggling so bad do i take a few dollars? And i know this is fucked up. But im genuinely curious, and no i haven't or even planned to do it, I've watched and documented thousands of dollars, and sent them off to families who paid for 5k+ services. Lifes this wild thing and here's my predicament.
