My boyfriend who's 30 and I (18) are in a long distance relationship and we've been dating 6 months. He's been away for 3 months and won't be back for another month. In the last month, he's been acting funny, like he never calls first and if I call him he almost never answers. I know he's busy with work and everything but I'm always the one who says 'I love you' first. And I've called him out on this 3 times already, and I still have to call him first, but he starts to say I love you first for a few days and then it's back to the way things were. And we haven't had phone or Skype sex in 2 months. When we started dating he was absolutely perfect, he sent my cute morning text and called me first and send cute I love you text all the time. I don't know if he's bored with, or the age difference and the distances is getting to him or what but every time I called him out about being distant and not calling, I've asked him if he still what's to be with me and the last time I did he told me if I ask again it will be a no. I just don't know anymore.

My friend has a boyfriend who lives in her home state (Let's say Alabama) and she's up here with me in Ohio. She's been with the guy for 17 years BUT their history is rocky. Like... he literally has 2 kids by two different women and neither of them are hers and they're 14 and 10. No, I'm not lying.

But she has a lot of male friends. They come over and stay the night and stay the entire night. She tells me she doesn't do anything with them, but she always talks about how much they all like her and want her just for her to say she has a boyfriend. I think they know she does, but still. Apparently her boyfriend tends to cheat sometimes, but he flies up here to see her like every other month. She moved up here for 2 reasons: A better job and to prove to her boyfriend that she doesn't need him.

I'm not telling her boyfriend any of this so please don't suggest that. I want to address her. But she's 34 and I'm 26 so I know the age gap might raise an eyebrow with her if I 'correct' her or something. I mean, she can do what she wants ultimately, but I don't like that she tells me and talks about these other guys when she's not single. But she said until her boyfriend proposes and marries her, she's technically single and can do what she wants. I don't think he will do that but if he does marry her, it'll be because she made him feel like he had to, not that he wanted to marry her.

So am I just imagining things or is she cheating? I don't know. I know if I had a boyfriend, I wouldn't want him doing the things she does, and I wouldn't do them, either.
